East Bengal Continue their Winning Streak

East Bengal continued their winning run with a 3-0 win over Southern Samity topping the league table with 14 goals. The 1st goal came in the 7^th minute when a cross from Brendan saw Laldanmaiya Ralte chipping past the opponent goalie’s head Bhaskar Roy to give his side an early lead. The first half score remained 1-0 in the first half.

In the 56^th minute, Al Amna made a cross to Samad Ali Mullick who scored from the corner’s end.The 3rd goal came in the 74rd minute when Willis Plaza took a powerful shot but failed to score as the ball hit the post, however Al Amna came to the rescue when he scored from the rebound scoring his 1st goal in this season.

Although the Red and Gold Brigade secured the win, it was quite a casual display from them.
