India climbs up by 6 points in FIFA rankings

In the latest edition of FIFA rankings India features at 148th spot. India has gained 6 spot from last month’s ranking. In Asia, India has gained 1 spot to reach 28th.
India managed 1-1 draw against Philippines (133) and a win over Nepal (165) in the last month. Playing the friendlies on official FIFA dates and getting results out of those seems to have given good result for India on FIFA ranking list.

Iran are the highest Asian ranked nation at 45th spot followed by Japan who dropped four places to 48^th and Korea Republic at 54^th.
