Khalid Jamil’s Thoughts On The Derby

Kolkata giant East Bengal left for Siliguri after a practice session held at the club on 22nd September. The highly anticipated derby against Mohun Bagan will take place today, September 24. Red and Gold gaffer Khalid Jamil is not only thinking about the game to be a derby on the contrary he is claiming the game to be the finals.

Today the players practiced at closed door for some odd hours, planning and scheminig out ways to stop the duo of Kromah-Kamo while on the other hand strengthening their midfield keeping Al Amna in the centre. However VP Suhair couldn’t travel with the squad on account of suffering from a hamstring injury. The pressure of the derby is certainly on the coach to win the Derby at any cost. If the derby ends in a draw then the Red and Gold outfits would be crowned as the champions for the eighth year on a row due to upper hand in goal difference.
