Liverpool Academy scout in India

The scouting campaign of Liverpool FC International Academy along with DSK Shivajians is underway. Coaches of the Football Academy would be present at Ambedkar Stadium, Delhi on 19th and 20th April. The campaign started on 17th March from Aizawl, Mizoram and will follow 6 more cities. Shortlisted candidates would participate in the final round to be held in Pune.
The first edition of this multi-city scouting is aimed at short listing promising players under two groups of U-17 and U-19 who will be trained in the academy and find the right path needed to head into professional football.

Scout schedule:

The best-in-class amenities at the academy include a state-of-the-art gymnasium, swimming pool, games room, lecture theatre and medical facilities. It will be fully staffed with coaches (including two full-time Liverpool coaches), physiotherapists, nutritionists and kit men. The academy also boasts two football pitches, one of which is artificial allowing players to continue their training in extreme weather conditions, while the other is a natural turf. The accommodation facilities are second to none, with a room provided for each player along with all other necessary amenities including food and laundry services.
