Mariners Prepare Ahead Of Match Against Tibetan N.S

City giants Mohun Bagan will start their campaign in Sikkim Governors Gold Cup against Tibetan N.S of Himachal Pradesh tomorrow. Each club can sign six foreigners for the forthcoming I-League season and among them five players can play in a match together.

The Green and Maroon Brigade will only get the services of three foreigners at the start of the match. They are Dipanda Dicka, Ansumana Kromah and Diogo Ferreira. After getting a release from the nursing home, their Japanese medio Yuta Kinowaki has joined the squad but coach Shankarlal Chakraborty does not want to take a chance with him from the start of the match. According to him, Kinowaki will be there in the 18-men squad and later he might come in as a sub.

Bagan’s two star foreigners Diogo Ferreira and Dipanda Dicka will debut in the Green and Maroon jersey from the quarter final stage of the tournament. As it will be a knock out game, the Mohun Bagan players did some penalty shootout after an hour of practice session at the Paljor Stadium.
