Spaniard Kibu Vicuna was appointed the new head coach for the Mariners for the upcoming season.
Vicuna, an UEFA Pro Licence holder, has immense experience that he has gained from coach in Spain and Poland. He won the Polish Cup and the League in 2012-13 being a part of coaching staff with Legia Warsaw. He has also worked quite a long as an Assistant to Polish Coach and 1986 World Cupper Jan Urban.
He was the man-in-charge of Polish Side Wisla Plock in the Polish First Division League before joining the Green and Maroon Brigade.
Vicuna would be replacing Khalid Jamil, under whose guidance Mohun Bagan had a dismal season (2018-19).
