Mohun Bagan swipe away Patha Chakra by virtue of Kamo

The  Mariners registered their 3rd consecutive victory in Calcutta Football League yesterday as they beat the so called “Giant Killer” club of this season Patha Chakra 5-2, with the help of a dazzling heroic performance by forward Bayi Stephen Kamo who scored 4 goals for Mohun Bagan at their club ground.The extra goal was scored by none other than the marquee star of the Green and Maroon Brigade in this league, Kromah.

While Nadong Bhutia broke the deadlock in the 15th minute of the match to give Patha Chakra an early lead.It was very short-lived as Lamp equalised on the 24th minute mark.After that the former Aizawl star scored in the 43rd, 63rd and 89th minute of the match to complete a brilliant 4-fer.In between Kromah scored on the 61st minutes mark and just before the final whistle, Joel Sunday scored the 2nd for Patha Chakra, who quite fairly displayed a hard-fought attacking performance throughout the match.
