SAVIO MEDEIRA TO ASSUME AS NEW TECHNICAL DIRECTOR OF AIFF

Former player and Indian national team head coach Savio Medeira is set to assume the role of the next Technical Director of the All India Football Federation.

In 2015, Medeira was appointed as the head coach of the India U-23 national team.Appointing him as the Technical Director, a post vacated by Scott O’Donell who is a renowned man of the game himself, is a like for like appointment that hints at a continuity of vision.

He is expected to assume his new responsibility immediately and oversee operations through a crucial time period during which India will host the FIFA U-17 World Cup and attempt to qualify for the 2019 Asian Cup.
